Roxy has been dancing to make money since she was 19 years old. Originally from Scottsville, Ky, Roxy now lives in Bowling Green and works as a stripper at Tattle Tails.

“I knew it was fast money and I just sort of got hooked on it... I guess I started liking it,” Roxy said.

Tattle Tails is a big part of Roxy’s life, financially and socially. Although she enjoys dancing, there are some parts of the job she doesn’t like.

Ready for work, Roxy checks to see if her cab has arrived. She depends on cabs and friends to take her places because she has chosen not to get her driver’s license.
Roxy has a few tatoos including this one on her right arm. Getting ready for work, Roxy changes clothes and puts on "pasties".
"I like the club, I like the people," Roxy said. "I’m real good friends with the owner and managers. They look out for me."
A large part of being a dancer at Tattle Tails is "working the bar." The girls are expected to socialize with customers and sell a number of "ladies drinks."
As Roxy leaves The Executive Inn Bar and Lounge in Bowling Green, she persuades a man in the parking lot to carry her to her ride.
Because of the late night hours of her work schedule, Roxy often sleeps into the afternoon.
"Shorty", a friend of Roxy’s and a dancer at Tattle Tails, Diego, Shorty’s son, and Roxy stock up on bread and head to the park to feed the ducks.
Roxy waits for a cab to pick her up and take her to work. The cab was 40 minutes late.
Roxy participates in a wet t-shirt contest at The Executive. She wasn’t making any money at Tattle Tails so she left early to enter the contest and hoped to take home the $200 first prize. She was a finalist, but didn’t win.
